Finally, news about Google Maps putting the details on Madras Streets [via]. Most land­marks find a place. “Direc­tions” — got a long way to go. The satel­lite images could get us a lit­tle closer, but we don’t mind waiting.

In a city that lacks proper maps, has vir­tu­ally no record of aer­ial views, and keeps most build­ings off lim­its to its own res­i­dents, this is truly a dream come true.
