Yahoo: Chat in Tamil

Yahoo India launches chat in Tamil (and seven other regional languages).

”The new Yahoo! messenger has UTF-8 support, so while sending the text in Hindi or Tamil you don’t have to worry about the font being available on your friends desktop. You just send it and your friend will be able to see it independent of the font.”
